Who Can Apply:
- The immigrant experience presents unique challenges, and no two journeys are the same.
- Immigrant students often face additional obstacles such as language barriers, complex paperwork, and limited professional or social networks on top of the challenges already faced by their U.S.-born peers. While the high cost of tuition affects many students, immigrant students, particularly those without financial support for education or living expenses in the United States, often face significantly greater hardship.
- This scholarship seeks to support female immigrants by helping them overcome these barriers and successfully complete their college degrees.
- Any female high school senior or two- or four-year undergraduate who is an immigrant or international student may apply. Preference will be given to women of Nigerian or African descent.
