Who Can Apply:
- The Chellez Brand was created by Demetrius Allen and is committed to highlighting mental health and advocating for the youth.
- Young people from underserved demographics often struggle to pursue higher education due to underfunded schools that offer limited counseling or extracurricular activities. Additionally, systemic barriers such as the racial wealth gap and disparities in parents’ college attainment levels leave some students at a disadvantage when compared to their peers.
- This scholarship seeks to support students from underrepresented communities who are passionate about arts.
- Any BIPOC high school or undergraduate student in North Carolina, Virginia or Colorado who is pursuing an arts-focused career may apply for this scholarship opportunity.
