Taylor Bryant
Bachelor of Science Business Administration student
“I run a small boutique from home, and attending Post has taught me invaluable information about running a business. I’ve learned many of the ins and outs—from financial knowledge to managerial skills. Being able to learn at my own pace at Post has been especially beneficial. I can continue spending time with my toddler, showering her with love, while also reaping the benefits of furthering my education.
No matter how many times you might have to restart, there is a finish line. As a 23-year-old mom who had previously quit college twice, all I needed was a boost—and enrolling at Post University was exactly that.”
Alexander Fascia, ’25 Bachelor of Science Computer Information Systems
Master of Science Project Management student
“For nineteen years, I have worn this uniform with pride, carrying the weight of responsibility, sacrifice, and leadership. My career has taken me across the world, including four deployments to Africa and Afghanistan that tested my endurance, courage, and commitment to my fellow soldiers. Through the chaos of combat and the camaraderie of service, I earned the Purple Heart and the Bronze Star–symbols of sacrifice and resilience. Yet one of the most transformational journeys of my life did not happen on the battlefield, but in the virtual classroom.
When I first considered pursuing higher education, I was skeptical. As a First Sergeant balancing training, mentorship, and constant demands, I doubted I could take on coursework. Post University’s online program changed that. Its flexible structure allowed me to continue my mission while logging in between field exercises, writing papers in the barracks, and engaging with classmates worldwide.
Higher education sharpened my analytical thinking and redefined the way I lead. As a senior noncommissioned officer, my mission is to develop the next generation of leaders. Earning my degree
shows that education is not a luxury for those outside the military; it is a tool every soldier can and should pursue.
Courses in organizational management, psychology, and strategic communication broadened my perspective, helping me lead with intelligence, empathy, and adaptability rather than relying solely on rank. Education has shown me that intellectual growth is just as essential as physical readiness.
The most rewarding outcome has been its impact on my soldiers. Many believed college was out of reach, but seeing their First Sergeant earn a degree has inspired them to pursue their own goals.
As I approach my twentieth year in the Army, I know my service will eventually end, but my commitment to growth and leadership will not. Post University has prepared me for a future beyond the battlefield—one where I continue to lead, educate, and inspire.”
Larry Ransom
Bachelor of Science Human Services student
“I am 71 years young, a sophomore at Post University, and I face numerous physical infirmities daily, including COPD and paralysis in one of my limbs. As an online student, I can conduct research using reliable, scholarly references and maintain continuous communication with my professor and classmates without worrying about mobility challenges or the need for in-person meetings when I need help. As many of us have experienced, there never seems to be enough time, even when time management is part of our daily routine. However, I feel that I have gained a better understanding of my course assignments online than I did in a traditional classroom setting. Post University has been an uplifting force in my life, revealing what is achievable regardless of a person’s physical circumstances, personal doubts due to age, or a lack of confidence to take the first step.”
Chy’na Potts
Bachelor of Science Criminal Justice student
“Online learning at Post University has played a big role in helping me work toward both my academic and personal goals. It has given me the flexibility and support I need to continue my education while managing other responsibilities. Because of this, I’ve stayed focused on what I want to accomplish and built the confidence I need to get there.
One of the biggest benefits of online learning is the flexibility it offers. I can log in and complete assignments whenever it fits into my schedule, which makes it easier to balance school with work and my personal life. Whether it’s late at night or early in the morning, I can keep up with my classes without feeling overwhelmed. This freedom has helped me stay consistent and keep moving forward, even when life gets busy.
I also appreciate the support from my professors and the way the classes are set up. Instructors are always willing to answer questions and offer guidance. The discussion boards give me the chance to
connect with other students, share ideas, and learn from their perspectives. This has helped me understand the material better and feel like I’m part of a community.
Through online learning, I’ve developed skills that go beyond the classroom. I’ve learned to manage my time, stay organized, and hold myself accountable. These skills have helped me both academically and personally. I feel more confident knowing that I can set goals and follow through, no matter what challenges I face.
Overall, online learning at Post University is helping me reach my goals in a way that fits my life. I know the effort I’m putting in now will pay off, and I’m excited to see where this journey takes me.”
Danielle Hunton MA, RN-BC, CCRN, CWCN, CNE
Doctor of Nursing Practice Educational Leadership Specialization student
“I have always aspired to earn my terminal degree in nursing. This is both a personal and an academic goal since becoming a nurse, but I did not expect to pursue it so soon. Working in academia motivated me to explore doctoral programs, which led me to Post University. From my first interaction with my admissions specialist, I was impressed, and my experience has only strengthened my appreciation for the program.
The Doctor of Nursing Practice advisors have been accessible and supportive, guiding me through requirements with kindness and expertise. Faculty members are incredible sources of knowledge and inspiration, not only through their accomplishments but also through their genuine engagement with students. Their dedication has a meaningful impact on my learning. The well-structured program helps me stay on track while balancing professional and personal responsibilities.
The coursework is challenging and engaging—I genuinely enjoy my assignments and look forward to discussion board interactions. The program’s organization, clear expectations, and online format allow me to integrate my studies into my life, making this degree both demanding and attainable.
One of my most rewarding experiences has been developing my DNP project. My last course guided me through the initial stages, and I am excited to continue refining and implementing it to support positive changes in nursing education. The structured timeline assignment has also helped me visualize my path to completion.
Throughout these early stages, every interaction with Post University personnel has been professional and student-focused. This level of support is invaluable and reinforces my confidence in my ability to succeed.”
