Who Can Apply:
- Careers in the trades or nontraditional industries often don’t get much attention from teens who are considering what to do with their lives.
- These career paths offer steady employment, opportunities for advancement, and competitive wages. These industries often have shorter education periods that can help students save money while learning the skills necessary to thrive in their careers.
- This scholarship seeks to support students who are preparing to finish high school and pursue careers related to the trades.
- Any high school senior from Tulsa County, Oklahoma, who will attend college or trade school may apply for this scholarship opportunity if they’re studying community development, plumbing, real estate, electric, HVAC, or general contracting. However, low-income students and applicants from the city of Tulsa are preferred.
