You are here: / / Katie Montgomery Centorbi Scholarship (Deadline: April 14, 2026)
Who Can Apply:
- Katie Centorbi (Montgomery) was a beloved wife, mother, and daughter who was a source of brightness in her family and community. A proud St. Charles West alumna, Katie carried the values of compassion and generosity with her throughout her life.
- She always put others before herself and had a deep passion for children, finding joy in nurturing, teaching, and supporting young people whenever she could. Katie was also known for embracing life’s simple pleasures — she loved spending time outdoors, enjoyed weekly rounds of golf in her adult life, and could often be found playing horseshoes with family and friends.
- Katie was taken from the world too soon due to appendiceal cancer, which cut her life short but has not stopped her legacy from living on.
- This scholarship seeks to honor the life of Katie Centorbi by supporting students who share her generosity and are pursuing careers in medicine.
- Any high school student at St. Charles West High School in Missouri may apply for this scholarship opportunity. However, applicants who have a passion for pursuing the medical field, has been impacted by Appendiceal cancer, or has volunteered in cancer support are encouraged to apply.
