Who Can Apply:
- Students from rural areas often have limited opportunities when it comes to education due to a lack of resources.
- With few options available on where to attend school, limited extracurricular and athletic opportunities, few standardized testing options, and potential financial hardship, it can be difficult for students to stand out when it comes time to apply for college, and it can be even harder to pay for it. Students who remain resilient and dedicated in the face of adversity show the drive needed for success and will turn their hard work into opportunity.
- This scholarship aims to help reduce financial barriers and provide students with the opportunity to build skills that can create long-term success for themselves and a positive impact in their rural communities.
- Any high school student in Southeast Erie County, Pennsylvania, may apply for this scholarship opportunity if they are experiencing financial hardship and if they demonstrate a strong work ethic, responsibility, and determination. However, those with an interest in trades, entrepreneurship, or military leadership are preferred.
