From health problems to the loss of a parent to financial difficulty to learning disabilities and beyond, there are many challenges that can affect a student’s life and can make it difficult for them to pursue their goals.
- This scholarship seeks to honor the memory of Timothy Reyes Stuckman by supporting students who are committed to using education to make a positive impact.
- Any high school senior who will go to community college or is a current community college student may apply for this scholarship opportunity if they attend school in Texas. However, applicants from Alvin Community College are preferred. The ideal applicant is academically strong, curious, resilient, and committed to making a positive impact, with leadership, integrity, and a clear sense of purpose. Applicants should have overcome significant personal or academic challenges with perseverance and adaptability, demonstrating growth, resilience, and the potential to succeed in future endeavors.
