Who Can Apply:
- Jaden Booker was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, cousin, uncle, and friend, whose presence illuminated the lives of everyone he met. He possessed a remarkable talent for piano and enthusiastically enjoyed ping pong, board games, bowling, and various sports. Throughout his career, Jaden demonstrated unwavering dedication and care, whether that was working on a pirate ship for kids, stocking produce at Walmart, or serving in the Navy. His life was tragically cut short due to suicide, leaving his loved ones with a profound loss and a lifelong journey of healing.
- This scholarship is established to honor Jaden’s memory by providing support to students who have lost a loved one to suicide and are struggling to find the strength to move forward.
- Any high school senior (Class of 2027) who is a Massachusetts resident may apply for this scholarship opportunity if they have lost a loved one due to suicide and will plan pursue the mental health field in college.
Submission: To apply, tell us about your journey as a survivor of suicide loss, including the challenges you have faced, the lessons you have learned, and how you’ve found resilience and hope despite the tragedy you’ve experienced.
