Who Can Apply:
- Many students are full of creativity, but don’t get to explore their curiosity or develop art in their professional work.
- Anyone could have a beautiful story within them, whether they work in writing or in non-creative fields, such as business. Everyone should be encouraged to create and explore their passions, even if life hasn’t led them into artistic career paths. When talents are ignored or repressed, the world loses out on the beautiful art that could have been produced.
- This scholarship seeks to support students who aren’t in traditionally artistic fields but continue to foster their creativity.
- Any first-generation undergraduate student who is pursuing a business or STEM program but who enjoys creative storytelling may apply for this scholarship opportunity.
Submission: To apply, write a short story with a main conflict that most people would consider trivial.
