Who Can Apply:
- Every day, nurses have a profound impact on the care and overall well-being of countless individuals and their families.
- Through chronic conditions, emergency scenarios, and beyond, nurses provide unrelenting care, compassion, and expertise that comforts and protects patients. In life’s most challenging moments, a competent and dedicated care team can make all the difference in easing a patient’s worries and keeping them safe.
- This scholarship seeks to support students who are dedicated to the field of nursing and committed to helping others.
- Any undergraduate student who is pursuing nursing may apply for this scholarship opportunity if they want to work with patients experiencing chronic illness, diabetes, cardiac symptoms, or those whose health care would require an ostomy. However, special consideration will be given to those who personally experience any of the health conditions listed above, those who have served in the military, and those who are children of military members or educators.
Submission: To apply, tell us why you’re pursuing nursing, what your planned speciality is, and why you’ve decided to work with your selected demographic.
