Who Can Apply:
- Jacob Wise was a beloved husband who faced many trials and challenges in his short life, but never stopped working towards his goals.
- Jacob had a difficult upbringing and very few opportunities for his future. Through hard work and determination, he earned his master’s degree and became an educator. Jacob was passionate about his work and took great pride in helping each and every student learn, going out of his way to provide individualized attention and lesson plans to ensure no student was left behind. Jacob sadly was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and passed away six months later. Throughout his battle, his students showered him with cards and gifts, showing the impact he made on their lives.
- This scholarship seeks to support students who might not have the resources necessary to pursue higher education but who possess the desire and determination needed to succeed.
- Any high school senior who will be a first-generation college student may apply for this scholarship opportunity if they will pursue a career in elementary or middle-level education
